Question How are you making out?

Wondering how you guys are making out with your 1098 ?

I have had a few problems with stalling but this thing ROCKS MAN!!!!I,ve put on 5200kms and having a blast.

I put on a set of Termi slip ons from the start and had problems with stalling.Got a new ECU from Italy and problems solved. This was the only issue I had and the dealer was great about it.

Hang on!!!

I'm thrilled with mine! or should I say both of mine...

My first one had the slip ons and was stalling, I crashed it on Deals Gap, got he insurance money bought a new one with a full system no stalling problem, and a lot more grunt over 7K rpm. I bought he crashed one back as salvage and will be putting it on the track. I hope to get it done in time for Calabogie next Tuesday!

Put 2000km on mine with Termi slip on's....love the bike!!! I so want to track it but am too scared to smash it!

That being said I did take it around Calabogie last week...a few laps solo and even got to take my girlfriend out for a few laps! It handled and braked better than any race or street bike I have been on! Mind you it was unexpected track time and I did not have all my race gear on so I was only going about 50%

It stalles...and stalles though....ECU has been changed and it is still doing the same thing...thats about the only complaint I have but it is such a nice bike to ride I can easily look over the stalling....at least until they figure out what is wrong with it.

I had mine out at Calabogie today - bike runs like a dream. I"ve got a little over 5,000 km on it - it still stalls in stop-and-go traffic. I haven't taken it in for the ECU re-map because I don't want to waste a week or two of riding it. And, I've read where the ECU re-map may not fix it. I've seen another post where proper set-up might do the trick. Might have to wait to end-of-season before I decide to do anything.

I had the fully system installed at delivery. No stalling and no problems whatsoever after 6 weeks of ownership. Handles like a dream, low end power is good.

I have 2K on mine and love it. No stalling issues with it at all.
Still stock right now. I am going to do my mods over the winter once I move into my new house.

There must be because I asked my dealer at the Motorcylce show at the Metro Convention Centere this past weekend and he told me he sold a couple. He said he may have an unveiling party once it arrives....I'm definitely going to that since there was a no-show of the Desmosedici or the 1098R at the show. Big disspointment it was...

The first track I will take my Desmosedici RR to will be Calabogie: someone told me that the average speed on that track is 120 mph; is it true?
