Default Any Discoloration of Termi CF Slip Ons?

Thinking of getting either the CF or the Ti Termi slip ons - Anyone ever had or hear of the CF ones discoloring due to the heat?

Thanks

Yes, have a look after 5000km..
Looks like heat has built up around the straps.

Hmm....weird...?!

12000+kms on the 848, 5000+kms on the Streetfighter, both with Termi CF exhausts, and I don't have any discolouration on either.

If Termi used a better way of packing or a high temp resin this would not be a problem.

Here are a few pictures of what you see when you pull them apart. You can also see how we fix the problem.

What is the cos of the repair?

I said all this in the last 'Burned Termi' post but nobody believed me. Thanks for the backup Steve.

Brett, most people don't thrash the living daylights out of their bikes as much as you do yours....
