Can't begin to imagine how you and his family feels. A similar thing happened to my friend when we were out for a ride, he was run off the road by a car and hit some concrete posts. A lady flagef me down and pointed behind me, when I got to him he was just lying there. Drew got lucky though. her shattered both his arms and his left leg, and now after two And a half years he still isn't fully recovered, but at least he is at home with his family and friends and will get the chance to someday ride again. The feelings I felt when I didn't know if he was going to make it were horrible. That's why I can't imagine your and his familys pain. Rip ken and at least it happened while you were doing something you loved.

For everyone, the Memorial is this Sunday, 9:30 am at Kate Sessions Park in San Diego.
Please join us for the wake, words, food, and Memorial Ride. Any and all donations are appreciated for his daughter and wife.

I have some very good friends who started the VTX Association here in the U.K. and I posted a thread on their forum, linking it up with the Californian VTX Forum that Kent founded - there are a few responses now there too, for Nicki and the rest of his family to read, when they are able to.

I do hope it helps to comfort them and to understand how close the biking world can be in times like this and how keenly fellow bikers from all parts of the world feel for the families left behind.

Thanks Rosemary. I plan to put as many threads together from the many different sites (I count about 10 now) in a notebook for Nicki.
Meeting with Diane tonight to go over Memorial delegation. One of my best friends is a pastor, and he'll be leading the Memorial.
Will post up more info and, after Sunday, the Memorial pics.
Again, thank you everyone for you kindest words.
